In Love

Love is a mixture of sunshine and rain
There is laughter,pleasure,tears and pain
All days can't be bright,but its true
Love will remain with you,take you through
Always trust your partner whatever betide you
God is always besides you
With love,days will be brighter
Your burdens will seem so lighter
Each time you will love ,you will find it true
Your partner will send love back at you
And nothing can make life more worthwhile
Than warmth of love of love bringing a beautiful smile

Lover

I have an fabulous lover
With an elegant smile
He often shows power
Jokes with me for a while
I like to keep on chatting with him
He is so proper and prim
I grow very sad
When our talks end
He is as thin as a fragile glass
He is as handsome as anyone could be
Everything he does has a high class
He is indeed fond of me
I think I have been blessed
By getting such a good lover
He is also very caring,I confess
And a very good preacher

In Your Memories

In your memory I grope through sunshine and shadows
remove cobwebs of past
Heart gets immersed in endless in endless memories
And soliloquies about reminiscences
When life seems to anguishI dive in ceaseless worries
Hearts feels to repine
Your memories fill in me a new hope
To take the test of life
That lost,hopeful child
Who never knew to give up
Take a rebirth through my soul
You blow into me a new hope
So whenever hope is lost
Heart says "why dont you think of dear love"

Friendship

Friendship is all about staying in touch
Its about trusting each other,nothing much
Sometimes things get messed up
But one should never lose hope
True friends stand up for each other every time
Friendship should be as dense as the tree of pine
Friends share everything with each other
Whatever others feel,they never should bother
Never break up with your friends
Friends help in meeting life's ends
Friendship is the best gift
Go ahead,make friends and give your life a lift

Time runs when we want it to stop ... and I somehow feel during the lecture hours time runs backwards ! The clock hands run anticlockwise ! I guess most of the students will agree....  and there are those moments when we want time to stop, when we want the moment to never pass... Today I want you to take a peek into my life's such moments...  That twinkle and affection in dad's eyes when he hugged me .... when I won the Navratri dance competition. He never expected me to handle walking properly so I could understand his emotions on seeing me literally floating in air. I knew how much elated I was when he placed a kiss on my forehead. The world is what it is

University College in oxford is an old college established for studying theology two centuries before Trinidad was named. It has famous alumni such as, P.B.Shelley, Clement Attlee, Harold Wilson and C.S.Lewis. There was a relief structure of William Jones in the chapel.It was a conservative men’s college with gender segregation The university life was staunchly male except meeting women in lectures or through other activities. The author’s room was on a staircase above the junior common room. Douglas Millin, sergeant major was the head of the university college of oxford. His duty was to monitor the behaviour of students. He combined abrasive manner with devotion to university and used a very rough speech. His job was anything and everything and he felt nobody could replace Naipaul.
