Shikhhaaaa !!! Ek post to banti hai :)

  

 She would snatch the spoon out of the ice-cream cup and say “ek to banta hai” and that’s how “ek to banta hai” has become her tag line!

She requested me to write a post on her and I just have been delaying it since many days. She is very punctual, like without fail she would wake up early and wake me up. We would be the only people walking so early in the morning and then those lazy mornings where we sit for hours sipping our beverages discussing anything under the sun, I would blabber out my thoughts to her, patiently listening to the history tales she would tell. We both share interest and she would read and narrate it to me. I like to hear her speak about her day, her feelings and her philosophies.

She would go to a roomie and ask her to explain some chapters…
As soon as the roomie would start, shikha would be interrupting: “haa who to aata hai” “age bata” or she wud start explaining the stuff herself: D or she would just sit with me in the cafeteria and complete entire course revision by blabbering some nonsense like … “yeh to ata hai… us subject mein to kuchh padhaya nahi… woh to kissi ko nahi ata… chalo ho gaya”

She has been very generous in appreciations and I have been very cruel, I would lay out the facts as I see and tell her on her face when she is wrong. She is very gracious is accepting comments as well as compliments, she would never feel bad and would always be ready to improve herself.


While playing dumsheraz, in order to explain the word “le” …she would start from explaining “aloo” and take us towards the brand “lays” and then make us cut the word into half… OMG!

She is a very jolly person, fun to be with and lovable! Thanks for always counting on my advise on how you are looking and what you should wear. You are an amazing friend!

I blinked and the day passed ...

Time runs when we want it to stop ... and I somehow feel during the lecture hours time runs backwards ! The clock hands run anticlockwise ! I guess most of the students will agree....  and there are those moments when we want time to stop, when we want the moment to never pass... University College in oxford is an old college established for studying theology two centuries before Trinidad was named.
